Ariens Company is currently recruiting for a motivated, passionate, and experienced Administrative Assistant to provide business support through the completion of numerous and diverse administrative functions by performing some or all of the following duties.



  1. Partner with individual departments to provide outstanding administrative support that will assist with the success of the business unit and Ariens Company.
  2. Coordinate all travel arrangements.
  3. Prepare advanced Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents promptly and accurately.
  4. Perform Internet research as needed.
  5. Draft outgoing correspondence, compose emails and first-draft memos, open, distribute or file incoming correspondence.
  6. Prepare internal reports as requested.
  7. Organize and maintain hard copy and electronic files.
  8. Field telephone calls and maintain a log of incoming calls.
  9. Schedule conference rooms, conference calls, meetings and events, on/off site.
  10. Filing, photocopying, collateral projects (i.e., binders, folders).
  11. Organize and prepare for all aspects of meetings and facility tours, including scheduling, confirming attendance, organizing rooms and meals; following up with appropriate correspondence.
  12. Greets scheduled visitors and directs to appropriate area or person.
  13. Take ownership of work; think strategically and be resourceful.
  14. Correctly assess priorities and act accordingly.
  15. Complete multiple tasks simultaneously and in a logical sequence, even in situations when there may be pressure and little time available.
  16. Utilize effective time management; key activities are accomplished promptly and accurately.



Job Requirements


  • College education desirable (BS or AA degree) or commensurate level of experience
  • Possesses 5 or more years of administrative experience
  • Technologically savvy (iPhone, iPad, etc.)
  • Proactive self-starter; able to self-manage
  • Team player; collaborative
  • Problem Solver/Can-Do Attitude
  • Technically proficient with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Performs duties with the highest degree of accuracy
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Professional business manner
  • Ability to handle high level of confidentiality
  • Calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience assisting executive/senior leadership
