We are currently recruiting for a motivated and passionate Machinist which is a position that operates machining centers while following set standards.



  • Safe operations of machine and tools, following procedures and protocol.
  • Live and promote the Ariens Core Values and 15 Principles.
  • Must be able to perform all Machining Technician duties and responsibilities.
  • Identify and troubleshoot technical problems involving multiple variables in non-standardized situations. 
  • Develop and edit CNC programs to optimize part quality and efficiency on computer controlled machines.
  • Independently improves, selects, aligns and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials in machine tools.
  • Design, fabricate and install fixtures, tooling and experimental parts to meet engineering and production needs including process trials.
  • Assist and train Machine Operators, Machining Technicians and Machinists.

Job Requirements


  • Pursuing or completed a Machine Tool Operations Program or Journeyman Machinist Apprenticeship or equivalent experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Capable of performing multiple machining processes adhering to standard work
  • Develop standard work to set up and program machines for new parts/processes
  • Working knowledge of Blue Print reading
  • Rating of Meets or Exceeds Expectations on two most recent quarterly coaching reports
  • Must complete the following: TWI Job Instruction class and Problem Solving class



  • Ability to stand for 8+ hours a day
  • Must be able to use hands to position parts in place
  • Able to lift up to 35 pounds at varying frequencies
  • Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment
    Ability to work as part of a team
