We are currently recruiting for a motivated and passionate Quality Technician to inspect products manufactured or processed to ensure compliance with specifications by performing the following duties.



1. Must understand types of measurement, measurement terminology, and the different types of measurement scales.
2. Must have a strong knowledge of basic mathematical operations and perform measurement conversions; be able to solve for x; add and subtract degrees, minutes, and seconds.
3. Must know the difference between accuracy and precision and be able to select the appropriate measuring tools and techniques.
4. Must know how to measure using surface plate layouts.
5. Must have basic calibration knowledge.
6. Must be able to identify/recognize inspection errors and initiate resolution.
7. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and know definitions of critical, major, and minor characteristics.
8. Must have knowledge of testing methods.
9. Must be able to identify and report nonconforming material.
10. Must understand traceability (product, material, and calibration).
11. Must know basic quality terms, definitions, and concepts.
12. Apply the basic problem-solving steps: understand the problem, determine the root cause, develop/implement solutions, and verify effectiveness.

Job Requirements


• One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
