We are currently recruiting for a motivated and passionate Welder which is a position that involves operating welding equipment while following set standards.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Weld multiple material types flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions within process limitations and as determined by work instructions using a manual or robotic welder.
  2. Remove and install rolls of weld wire and make equipment adjustments necessary to properly weld.
  3. Interpret Blue print and weld symbols to produce welds to print specification.
  4. Use proper welding technique and adjust equipment as necessary to produce quality weld problems.
  5. Prepare parts necessary for welding.
  6. Repair defective welds to print specification.
  7. Clean-up of welded parts per print specifications.
  8. Follow written welding procedures, specifications and work instructions including (IPV) in process verification.
  9. Assist team members in other areas to meet daily production goals.

Job Requirements

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to communicate effectively by applying common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Pass appropriate internal welding certification.
  • Working knowledge of Blue Print reading and weld symbols.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & WORK REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to stand for 8+ hours a day.
  • Must be able to use hands to position parts in place.
  • Able to lift up to 35 pounds at varying frequencies.
  • Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
